We have a fantastic vacancy for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the F&B Manager in the smooth operation of the hotel's restaurants and food & beverage outlets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience at all times.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health, and safety throughout all areas.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any faults promptly.
- Ensure all outlets open and close on time and are fully prepared to welcome guests and customers.
- Support the induction and training of new team members, including providing shadowing and on-the-job guidance.
- Follow all till and cash-handling procedures and ensure compliance by all staff members.
- Monitor stock rotation and storage procedures, ensuring stock is held correctly and any wastage is accurately recorded.
- Attend and actively participate in relevant staff meetings and briefings.
- Ensure all food and beverage orders and requests are billed accurately.
- Ensure departmental maintenance and cleaning schedules are followed, with all areas maintained to a high standard.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal requirements relating to health and safety.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the F&B Manager or other members of the management team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality, food & beverage, or events industry.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality and events operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service standards.
- A proactive and positive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
