Continuous Improvement Process Engineer - Dublin
Alex Tosney is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join a biotechnology manufacturer who are one of the worlds leading suppliers of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical medicines. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 12 months to join the team on their site in Dun Laoghaire (South Dublin) with an hourly rate on offer up to €58phr.
The company
Our client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of biosimilar and biopharmaceutical products used in the treatment of a wide range of human healthcare conditions from cancer to arthritis. This company are a strong believer in helping patients by developing new treatments and taking them to market via their global network of specialist aseptic manufacturing, packaging and distribution sites.
This role is located on a state of the art manufacturing facility based in Dun Laoghaire and is a quick 30 minute drive away from the centre of Dublin, or 60 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. The site is easily commutable from Kildare or Wicklow by car and there is a good public transport network if you would prefer to live within Dublin itself. Dun Laoghaire is a vibrant cultural hub in south Dublin which is best known for its maritime history and locally caught sea food.
The Role
As a Senior Process Engineer you will be responsible for running continous improvement projects across the aseptic manufacturing plant. Further duties of the role will include running gap analysis and developing strategies to resolve issues, troubleshooting performance issues and driving operational excellence on plant. This role is expected to be the on site point of contact for performance issues and implementing improvements.
Your Background
The ideal candidate for this role with have a degree or equivalent qualification in Process Engineering or a related subject with extensive experience within pharmaceuticals or the biopharmaceutical sector. A qualification in Lean and 6-sigma methodologies would be ideal. GMP and project related experience are essential for this role.
The Benefits
This role is offering an hourly pay rate of up to €58phr for a 12 month initial contract.
