Technical Writer - Limerick, Ireland
Our client is one of the world's leading medical device manufacturers and is part of a global family of companies - the largest diversified healthcare group in the world with over 100 years of scientific heritage. They employ approximately 500 people in the UK and Ireland. They are committed to delivering great medicines and have introduced a range of innovative treatments that can make an important difference to the lives of patients with serious health conditions such as schizophrenia, hepatitis C, multiple myeloma, HIV/AIDS and diabetes.
The role is based at our client's site in Limerick, close to junction 28 of the M7 and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas. This site is a short drive from Shannon Airport so would suit candidates looking for a weekly commute from abroad.
Perform technical writing, research and related editing functions to prepare documents.
Test plans, user cases, project manuals, business proposals, reports, briefings, presentations, guidelines and other written materials.
Establish and manage engagement objectives, expectations, and quality plans.
You will be a self starter who can establish and maintain effective working relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree preferred - Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Technical writing experience.
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point , MTP Windows 2000.
- Familiar with website development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and team collaboration skills are essential.
This role is offering an exciting opportunity to join one of the worlds largest medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer products manufacturers on their state of the art facility in Limerick for an initial duration of 3 months. There is a chance this could be extended. The rate on offer for this role is up to €30 phr dependant on experience.
