Becoming an Administrator with Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP):Recruiting Group runs Assessment Centres (AC) for Regular and Reserve Officer and Soldier candidates, which must be passed before applicants are offered a Basic Training place. As a Health Technician (Administrator), you will carry out medical screening tests including: audiometry, Electrocardiograph (ECG) recording, eye testing including colour perception assessment, peak flow and spirometry (lung function testing), height and weight measurement, calculation of body mass index and urine testing. You will be able to work autonomously, with a calm, efficient and professional disposition. Working as part of an assessment team, you will be responsible for providing a warm, positive, and knowledgeable service to candidates to aid in delivering a high-quality candidate journey. You must fully understand the importance of accuracy to ensure that we recruit only individuals that are fit for enlistment. This role is office based and you will be required to work 4 days a week. Working hours are 8am-4pm.What you will do: * Conduct medical screening tests where required, including: measuring height, weight, body mass index, lung function, urine testing, audiometry, eyesight and colour perception assessment and ECG . * Ensure all results are documented in an appropriate format including accurate data entry onto the various systems * Ensure all medical documentation is correctly prepared before each candidate intake. When required request candidate’s medical documentation from other Assessment Centres or the National Recruitment Centre (NRC) as necessary * Heightened awareness of the requirement for medical in confidence and data protection * Comply with up to date legislation * Whilst this is a reflection of the role, you will be expected to be flexible and take on activities outside of those listed from time to time in support of the Assessment Centre.Your experience will include: * Recent administration experience with the ability to prioritise your workload and a good eye for detail * Experience in IT and knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential * Familiarity with Army Careers would be beneficial but this is not essential * Good communication skills, verbally and in writing at all levels * A calm professional dispositionAbout Recruiting Partnering Project:Capita Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP), part of Capita plc, has been working with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) since 2012 to transform the British Army's recruitment service.
