Quality Assurance Officer

About the Role
-Must be willing and able to travel to project sites across Ireland and the UK.
-Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures/processes, standards and specifications
-Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
-Internal auditing the purposes of ISO 9001 accreditation
-Auditing projects on site for H&S, site procedures compliance and absolute completion
-Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
-Assessing client requirements and ensuring that these are met
-Specifying quality requirements from subcontractors
-Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety
-Training site staff on established procedures, standards, and systems
-Writing reports/prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
-Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
-Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
-Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
-Responsible for documenting management systems
-Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
-Determining training needs
-Monitoring and reporting of quality standards to the Project Manager & QM
-Promote change and improvement in performance and quality
-Conduct improvement/lessons learnt meetings
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
1 â€“ 2 years auditing experience in a quality assurance or process compliance environment
Confidence, persuasive skills
Good numerical skills
Attention to detail
Planning and organisation skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
IT skills â€“ MS Office
