Family Support Practitioner
Your new company
A leading charity who provide excellent support to children, young people and their families. They provide a range of services including Family Support, Early Years, Supported Living and Intervention. This organisation requires a Family Support Practitioner for a short term contract to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
A fast paced role where you will deal with high volumes of calls and referrals from Service Users. This role involves lots of multi-agency working (With the Health trust, Housing Executive, Health Workers, Speech & Language Therapists, Community Workers etc.) and so you need to be comfortable and confident in liaising with various Social Care professionals of all levels. You will work within a team but will also be required to use your own initiative to drive the project forward.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have at least an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care and previous working experience in dealing with Children, Young People and Families. You will need to be proficient in recording and maintaining information on a variety of computer systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to forge sound relationships with colleagues and Service Users are also essential requirements of this role.

Although this opportunity is expected to last between 5 and 6 weeks, there may be other opportunities within the organisation that you could transfer over to once you have finished your initial placement.
