Threat Intelligence Researcher - Cork

A global player in the Cyber Security industry are currently looking to expand their Cork based team with the addition of a Threat Intelligence Researcher. As a Threat Intelligence Researcher, you will be working with malware analysis and researching the most recent threat and attack techniques.
You will have strong intrusion detection skills and should be able to adopt an analytic approach in researching cybercrime. You will have expert knowledge in reverse engineering and exploits using several tools from your own toolbox to develop the Cyber Security Function.
This role will report directly to the Threat Intelligence Manager
Environment
You will be joining an innovate team that is highly dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic about cyber security. It will also allow you to have a technical hands-on approach and provide you with an innovative environment for continued education.
What you need as Threat Intelligence Researcher:
* A relevant university degree or equivalent years work experience
* 3 years of threat research or deep forensics
* Excellent English communication skills
* Experience in operations such as CSIRT, SOC, CERT
* Programming languages: (Java/Ruby/Python/Perl/R)
* Experience with application security, network security, reverse engineering, or malware
