Working on site in a manufacturing facility in Galway, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing and supporting lean manufacturing projects, with a focus on the development of new and existing process technologies. You will be responsible for identifying, implementing and managing process improvement projects, as well as new process introductions, and you will be engaged throughout all stages of a project, from design, line assembly, process technology improvement / automation, equipment procurement, costing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. You will report to the engineering manager and liaise with the design team as well as production and quality manager throughout the lifecycle of each project.


• You will hold an engineering qualification in one of the following (or similar) disciplines: mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering.

• Ideally, you will have 3+ years’ experience working in a lean manufacturing environment

• You must be a clear communicator

• You must be willing to work as part of a multi-functional team, as well as being able to work autonomously

• Experience in machining, welding or automation will be a distinct advantage


• Salary: €40 - €50k

• Pension
