Becoming a Portfolio Bonds Administrator with Capita Life & Pensions (Ireland) Ltd:

An exciting and dynamic role has arisen in our Dublin office - In the role of Portfolio Bonds Administrator, you will be required to demonstrate a strong level of product and process knowledge for all transactions that are handled within your team. You will be required to meet targets on quality and service levels.

The purpose of the role is to conduct the administration of the Portfolio Bonds on behalf of Capita’s corporate customers. This role will involve the execution of trades, reconciliations, general administration, management of queries both with our clients and their underlying clients, query resolution relating to all aspects of trading / portfolio bond management and controls within the team.

What you will do:

Accurate placing of trades (on an execution only basis) within agreed SLA timeframes through various internal & external systems including Citibank systems: Fund Settle & CIS, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Asset types can include;

*

Unit Trust
*

Hedge Fund
*

Deposit
*

Discretionary Asset Manager trades

*

Answering Complex queries from Policyholders and Agents both verbally and in writing in a professional manner. Demonstrating the ability to investigate and resolve issues logically and effectively.
*

Drafting and dispatching client communications as required e.g.: in relation to Corporate Actions, liquidity requirements, and quarterly statements
*

Monitoring of Liquidity requirements on Portfolio Bond investments and ensuring policyholders adhere to the bond terms & conditions
*

Execute controls that are held within the team and challenge discrepancies
*

Dealing with escalation from our Business Partners
*

Timely completion of work allocated by your Supervisor in an accurate fashion and within agreed deadlines
*

Ensure all work carried out to agreed quality standards
*

Communicate directly with your team members and other Teams to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through co-operation
*

Be familiar with and adhere to all corporate policies and procedures including the HR Manual and the Clear Desk policy
*

Ensure completion of all regulatory training within agreed timeframe
*

Develop an awareness of Capita’s contractual obligations
*

Focus on continuous improvement to identify any issues or weaknesses in procedures and react positively to ever-changing business demands.
*

Accurately identify record and empathetically deal with client dissatisfaction
*

Perform the role of a “Buddy” to assigned new Administrators in the team, providing training, support and guidance as required.

Your experience will include:

*

A minimum of 2 Years relevant experience in Financial Services
*

A relevant 3rd level qualification and/or Professional qualification desirable
*

Previous knowledge of securities dealing, Fundsettle/Bloomberg would be an advantage
*

Ability to manage your work in a busy, challenging environment and be a team player
*

Ability to work to tight deadlines and cut-off times
*

High attention to detail and promote a “right first time” ethos
*
