HR Administrator

Our client is looking to recruit a Human Resources Administrator who will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR Department functions and duties, including Training & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations Compensation & Benefits and Recruitment & Selection.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Supporting the recruitment process including CV logging, applicant screening, interview scheduling and reference checking.

  • Vetting and sending CVs to Hiring Managers for review.

  • Ensuring all required recruitment documentation and relevant training/educational certificates are obtained prior to candidate interviewing.

  • Providing all administration support and documentation for the hire and on-going support and development of all Apprentices.

  • Assisting the Senior HR Officers with interviewing candidates.

  • Logging all applications into the HR CV database.

  • Answering and responding to employee telephone and email queries.

  • Monitoring HR email in-boxes and responding to queries as necessary.

  • Providing employee letters upon request.

  • Logging all employee training certificates on the Training IT system.

  • Assisting with employee relations issues.

  • Assisting with HR related projects.

  • Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system.

  • Archiving employee files and keeping accurate records.

  • General HR related administration duties.

  • Providing break/holiday cover for the Reception desk.

  • Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by your Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

Qualifications / Skills - Essential

  • A Human Resources third level qualification.

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a HR Administrator role.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to deal with change on an ongoing basis.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organised and assertive.

  • Diplomatic and objective.

  • Trustworthy and discreet.

  • Integrity and sensitivity.

  • IT Skills – Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Qualification / Skill – Desirable

  • Experience with ATS’s.

  • Experience in the construction sector.

  • Apprenticeship administration experience.
