Our client is a medium sized organisation expanding rapidly at the moment. We are looking for a Sales Director from a SME background who is looking for a hands on, varied and challenging Sales Director role. You will be based somewhere between Dublin and Tipperary ideally - but other locations will be considered.
You will have a solid background in Biotechnology and a proven ability to sell directly to customers in the territory and developing relationships with distributors; adding value to customers by providing training on specialist products and managing a small team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales leader in this industry sector to really prove themselves and grow with this hugely successful company.
Duties would include;
a) Promoting, developing and closing sales for the airflow product ranges
b) Promoting, developing and closing sales for the range of laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment as set out above
c) Promoting, developing and closing sales for the filter range as above
d) Developing business plans on a rolling 3 year basis
e) Staging promotional events for product ranges is (a) and (b) above
f) In conjunction with Group Marketing Manager agreeing an annual timetable of promotional and marketing activities
g) To maintain full CRM and prospect records
h) To report to the Board and group board on sales pipeline and achievements
i) To liaise with principals as necessary
j) To assist in debt recovery from customers
k) To liaise with Fleet or Winchester technical experts to resolve customer queries
As a Director of the Company:
a) To attend all Board meeting in person or via Zoom
b) To assist in preparation of Board agenda
c) To deliver Board sales reports
d) To discharge all duties required by Companies Act and other relevant legislation
e) Dealing with Irish Government grant making bodies eg Tipperary LEO
As Director in charge
a) To oversee quality procedure adherence in conjunction with the Office Manager to include ISO9001 compliance and complaint management.
b) To oversee prompt delivery of accurate site paperwork to Fleet and Winchester offices in conjunction with Office Manager
c) To oversee parts procurement and delivery in conjunction with Office Manager
d) To monitor engineer efficiency in conjunction with office manager and engineering Director
e) Overseeing office rent, equipment, health and safety, petty cash etc in conjunction with Office Manager.
