Scientist/ Senior Scientist (In Vivo Neurology)

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Scientist or Scientist to join a growing research organisation on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing experiments, as well as carrying out molecular/ biochemical assays and behavioural assessments. The position will include working with rodent models in a hands on and varied laboratory role.

Experience/ Qualifications

-Valid Home Office License (modules 1-4)

-PhD qualified in a relevant subject area (neuroscience, biology etc.)

-Previous work experience with rodent models is essential

-Applicants must have had in vivo research experience with one of the following; neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation or neuroimmunology

-Some postdoctoral or industry work experience would be advantageous but is not essential

-Some experience with CNS research in rodents would be beneficial but can be trained

-Ability to analyse and interpret sets of data

-Good communication skills and ability to present own ideas


In vivo, laboratory, experimental design, murine, rat, rodent, animal technician, psychology, neuropsychology, cognitive, laboratory, R and D, research.
