A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on an exciting building project in the City Centre of Dublin. They will join a major player in the construction industry who have an unrivalled reputation for their expertise in delivering technically challenging projects. They boast a very strong order book and they are offering genuine long term career opportunities within their planning department.
The Planning Engineer will be site based on a €150m commercial project which they are delivering on behalf of a key client, a large multinational organisation. The Planning Engineer will oversee all the planning activities on the project, they will be tasked with managing the construction programme in Asta Powerproject and ensuring it is communicated to the site team.
The Planning Engineer will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this flagship scheme. To be considered they will need to have the following skills and experience;
- Experience in site based construction planning
- Main contracting background
- Strong user of Asta Powerproject planning software
- Experience working within the building industry - commercial, residential, healthcare, education project experience
- Solid understanding of construction techniques and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Hold a construction related qualification - HND/HNC/Degree or similar
- Team player
